Lily Temple, Earth Witch, is being haunted. Everywhere she goes, Lily sees the same eerie apparition; a skeletal woman, wrapped in a black, fraying shroud, stands silently, arms outstretched to Lily, her eyes pleading.
Her friends can't see the ghostly image. Lily's boyfriend, the vampire, Emile St. Upery, can't see it either. Not even Lily's own mother can see the ghastly specter. Lily thinks she is losing her mind.
But is she really going crazy? Or has she been chosen? Does this grisly spirit have a message for her?
...And is it a message Lily really wants to hear?
